Highland Park House

Built on a ravine that leads to Lake Michigan, this stucco house is anchored to the site by a 2′ high limestone base. The chimney and accent walls are clad in coated copper. A stair tower constructed of steel tubing is wrapped in solid mahogany and provides views past the pool to the ravine from the 1st & 2nd floors. The windows throughout the house are also mahogany. The master suite floats close to the ravine and gives the sensation of being in a tree house. The 4 car garage has a 12′ ceiling with a commercial door that opens straight up and doubles as a basketball court. An adjacent house was annexed and raised to provide land for a tennis court.
