A wood floor garage from the late 1800's that was shoehorned between the owners house, the neighbors garage and a utility pole was surgically removed to make way for a new Coach House. The owner's well established garden was temporarily moved and replaced after construction. A 2-1/2 car garage and furnace room are at ground level. A tankless water heater and spray foam insulation were used to conserve energy. The exterior was designed to blend with the clients original home. A bluestone patio was placed in the garden behind the Coach House.
